Congratulations to the following HCTR members for running any of the distances at the 2013 Pandora’s BoX of RoX trail this past Saturday at Reveille Peak Ranch! Special congratulations to HCTR current Treasurer Justin Wendling for taking 2nd place Overall (Marathon in 3:52:06) and member William McKinney for placing 7th Overall (Marathon in 4:16:42) in the Marathon, and Jeanmarie Lord took 4th place Female in the Marathon (Marathon in 4:50:48). Members David Land placed 9th Overall in the Half Marathon (Half Marathon in 2:00:46), and Clair Melton placed 9th Female in the Half Marathon (Half Marathon in 2:25:22). Member Susan Farago placed 1st Female + 6th Overall, setting a new course record, in the 10K! (10K in 0:50:53)… Member Gary Krupala took 2nd Overall in the 10K (10K in 0:43:10) and Leary Walker placed 7th Overall (10K in 0:50:54). Great running HCTR trail runners! Congratulations to HCTR members who made it out to Ft. Collins, CO. this past weekend to run Quad Rock 50. This course reportedly features over 11,000 feet of climb, and the 25 mile over 5,500 feet of climb! Paul Terranova placed 8th Overall (50 miles in 8:34:38), and Justin Wendling completed the monster course as well! Nice job guys!
